Grid Connection: Our preferred installation is to be grid connected. This means we connect our turbines, through an inverter, to the national grid via the building’s electricity distribution board. We adhere to all the necessary standards (G83 and G59), and the process is totally automated. This allows the electricity produced to be used in your building and when there is surplus allows it to be sold to the grid.

By using a different inverter, we can also connect to a battery bank. This is known as ‘off-grid’. In this situation, surplus electricity is stored for use later.
