Vertical Wind Energy Ltd. undertakes two types of surveys:

1. Web survey:

We do this for free and use various databases in order to determine if the site in question has wind potential. Databases are far from perfect, but this survey will help us to give you an indication if the site is suitable for one of our turbines and to take it to the next level.

2. Site survey:

We come to the site and analyse the best place to install the turbine, taking into consideration factors such as ground topography, trees, buildings and so forth, ensure electrical connections are adequate and measure distances. This is also a really good time to talk to one of our experts. Clearly we want to sell turbines, but the company is wholly committed to installing turbines in the right place and if it does not suit, we will say so. After this, you will receive a comprehensive written report (including photo montage), estimated annual yield and quote. We charge £250/€350 for this as a contribution to our costs, but it does come off the final invoice should you go ahead.
