Installation is in two parts. The first stage is provision of a concrete foundation for the turbine, which we can undertake or can be provided by the customer.

A customer's first contact with VWE once an order is placed will be the receipt of mast holding down bolts, a template and a roll of appropriately sized wire.

Once the concrete has cured, which takes a few weeks, the turbine will be delivered – that is the top works, generator, mast and electrical control box. The parts are assembled and erected on the day of delivery usually taking about half a day to complete.

Once installed and connected electrically the turbine will be in operation.
