Vertical Wind Energy Ltd (VWE) is dedicated to the production of a truly innovative solution for wind generated power. We have a design that overcomes all inherent problems with traditional Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines offering significantly improved performance, mounting and siting flexibility and delivering significant value in the area of micro-generation.
The company's patented modular technology combines the most up-to-date, proven, wind turbine ship building and construction techniques. With our partners support we will be operating in the 1Kw-100Kw space and are seeking a solution that is:

As of May 2008, VWE is please to announce that a fully functional model of the turbine is currently being tested at the Myers Hill site in East Kilbride. Since the installation of the 3Kw test system in April 2008, we are pleased to report that the installation process (as can be viewed on the “installation page”) was a painless operation and even more exciting, the output data recorded at the site’s test laboratory has exceeded all expectations. Interested in having a pre-sales unit installed?
We are looking to install 20-30 turbines as pre-sales models, which will be independently monitored. Prices and installation details will be discussed on a one-to-one basis.
